Why are so many so desperately unhappy?  It is because they have missed their purpose.  You were created to serve God.  You are not here to have a good time or to feather your own nest.  You are here to serve the one who made you.  Only if you live according to your design can you have righteousness, peace and joy.

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10)

"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." (Jeremiah 1:5)

In some churches in China new believers are welcomed with the words, “Jesus now has a new pair of eyes to see with, new ears to hear with, new hands to help with, and a new heart to love others with”

Those who look to God and then to others for their purpose and directives will always have purpose.
They will have an eternity to live for.
 

CALLING - COMMAND - COMMISSION
COME - LOVE - GO

Three things Jesus said are about all we need. The Great Calling, the Great Commandment and the Great Commission'

"And He said to them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." (Matthew 4:19)

Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This it the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbour as your self.' All the law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." (Matthew 22:37-40)

"... go and make disciple of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19,20).
 

COME
Follow – “come behind me” or “be on the same road as me” “Be on the way with me” - become like Jesus as you spend time with Him & His people.

 

LOVE
"Love the Lord your God …" = WORSHIP.
“Love your neighbour .." = MINISTRY or SERVICE.

GO
"Fo and make disciple" = EVANGELISM.
“Baptizing them" = FELLOWSHIP (INCORPORATE).
"Teaching them to obey" = DISCIPLESHIP.
 

WHAT DO THESE WORDS MEAN?
